Hoteza IPTV solution installed in two Rocco Forte Hotels in St. Petersburg

Hoteza IPTV solution has been deployed in two of Rocco Forte Hotels – a European hotel group whose history started from acquisition of The Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh. Today the group comprises luxury historical hotels in eleven biggest European cities and is recognized as one of the best in the European market.

The most featured in Rocco Forte Hotels collection are the Astoria and Angleterre hotels located in St. Petersburg, the northern capital of Russia. For many years the famous hotel duo has been known for their impeccable service and aristocratic atmosphere. At all times mysterious pearls of the northern capital has tempted poets, writers, musicians and other artistic intelligentsia.

Over the years Astoria and Angleterre have been interweaved by history in a secret way. In 1875 two hotels located close to each other were merged by a specific legal document. The hotels were finally merged at the end of the 1980s after their reconstruction.

Nowadays Astoria and Angleterre continue to tempt guests from every corner of the world to visit St. Petersburg for business or pleasure. Both hotels boast superb location on the St. Isaac’s square in the heart of the northern capital, and all the best of St. Petersburg is located within walking distance from the Astoria. The historical hotels provide sublime accommodation in the comfort of their rooms and deluxe suites which combine exclusive modern design and cutting-edge technology.

Hoteza TV, an interactive hotel television system, installed in 405 guest rooms in the beginning of November 2017 has become an innovative and elegant decoration for both hotels. Guests can get access to a vast range of hotel services without leaving their rooms with the use of customized Hoteza TV interactive menu that includes guest services directory, travel information, restaurants offers, special hotel promotions and much more. The system is integrated with Protel PMS and puts TV channels in order by the language the guest speaks bringing the customer experience to a new level.

By the end of 2017 the hotel is planning to install Hoteza AirPlay on Demand solution that will allow guests to enjoy mirroring their own content from their Apple devices. Hoteza TV system implementation contributes to improvement of operations pace and is seen as a step towards enhancing overall guest experience.
