December 2019 – The implementation of Hoteza’s guest-room entertainment system helps to maintain the luxurious tradition of Esplanade Zagreb Hotel and keep up with the high standards of this historical hotel.
As one of the longest-lasting hotels in Croatia with an ongoing luxury tradition, Esplanade Zagreb has a rich history of almost 100 years and a strong reputation to maintain. This award-winning hotel has made it their mission to nurture this tradition of highly tailored services and balance it out with all the novelty and trends the technology has brought to them.

Our vision combines with their knowledge in order to create high-tech services tailored to our guests’ needs,” adding how the collaboration was a natural next step in their technological development and guest communications.
Esplanade Zagreb has implemented Hoteza hospitality TV system in all of their 208 rooms and suites, providing their guests with a rich number of services within the system. During a stay at the hotel, guests can enjoy a gourmet selection by award-winning Chef in the comfort of their room via In-Room Dining service or book a seat at one of the hotel’s restaurants, all at the reach of their fingers. Making a booking at the SPA centre, finding out about the latest promotions and events or simply exploring some of the options Zagreb has to offer has been made easy with the help from Hoteza team.

“Our biggest Croatian project to date has really been a feather in our cap,” says Damir Knežević, Hoteza Adria CEO and the manager of the project. –“Esplanade team was clear on their wishes since the first meeting and the feeling of accomplishment when the entire hotel was running on our system was amazing,” he continues. –“Clear design standards that would fit the visual identity of their brand was a deal breaker, and we made it possibly by creating unique visuals and customisations for them,” he finishes by adding it all had to be made twice: once when the Hoteza system was first implemented into the hotel, and once again when their visual identity has changed.
Esplanade has started with the TV system and mobile application for hotel guests and has since took claim of Hoteza’s Digital Signage and, as of soon, HotPad solution for tablets, which will be used in a unique way to make better sense of the guests’ wishes. Namely, it will be placed into the limo service and become the first contact that the guest establishes with the hotel. Exploring the offer of the exclusive gifts the hotel has, allowing the direct communication with the staff or giving the guest the ability to order a bottle of well-chilled wine to wait for them upon their arrival. It provides the hotel with the unique opportunity to impress them through the usage of the Hoteza’s solution before physically stepping a foot into the hotel.
