The best Slovenian wellness centre: Terme Olimia, a digitalized SPA getaway

January 2020 – Terme Olimia, the first and the largest wellness in Podčetrtek, has utilized various services from Hoteza platform to provide their guests with a well-rounded means of digitalized communication.

The biggest and most luxurious SPA complex in the region, with a long history of well-being and high-end service: Terme Olimia has been at the top of their field for years. Well-known for their dedication to bettering their services and listening to wishes of their guests, the leadership of group has quickly recognized the need for digitalisation as another means of communication with the guests, technological development and part of their social responsibility plans.

By investing into new services and objects, such as water parks, thermal SPAs, new hotel Sotelia, refurbished hotel Breza and the first-class Wellness Orhidelia, management invested into a unique branding of the company, and realized the clear and direct communication of the brand should continue throughout the complex.

For Hoteza, the project was an interesting and quite an extensive one for the region, with a large number of screens to be covered: two hotels, various objects with different content to be covered with Digital Signage and mobile application with a focus on the functionalities designed for a high-end wellness resort were a professional challenge to be handled. The SPA part of the group’s business meant the service module inside Hoteza hospitality TV system provides – enabling the guests to book their time slots for the massages, beauty treatments and such – was the biggest part of the process. Working seamlessly over the TV screens as well as inside the application, the solution has proven itself to be the perfect means of not only motivating guests to make appointments, but also showed an incentive for the guests to start exploring all other things Terme Olimia had in store for them.

”The most interesting part of our work with Terme Olimia were the locations,” says Damir Knežević, CEO of Hoteza Adria. – ”While the main objects are situated in Slovenia, the group took over a SPA facility in Croatia and the Digital Signage had to be implemented there,” he continues. – “This makes our collaboration first collaboration simultaneously taking place across two countries.”

Hoteza TV solution, Mobile App for Hotel Guests and hospitality Digital Signage software solutions are part of the Hoteza portfolio used by Terme Olimia. Building the system to fit the needs of an ambitious SPA resort turned into an interesting project with a lot of opportunities for growth.
