December 2019 – Ever since the grand opening, the management of the Al Areen Palace has been dedicated to maintaining and improve on all aspects of their guests’ stay, while working on the sustainability simultaneously. With the help of Hoteza solutions, they took a step closer into that direction.

Acting on the numbers which showed the guests easily tap into this interactive system, the management of the hotel decided to invest further into the sustainable future of their resort by deciding to get rid of all the printed materials for the in-room dining experience, relying on Hoteza to deliver.

“Transition of the materials was a rather short process”, says Nikolay Beloshitsky, Hoteza founder & CEO. First results have surprised the hotel management but have also served as a proof of just how tech-savvy guests are today. Numbers of the in-room dinging through the Order Module in both Hoteza TV and mobile application have skyrocketed almost immediately, not only on the resort level, but Hoteza’s global information too. –“Al Areen has been, for another year, Hoteza’s project with the highest number of orders within the in-room dining through the Order module,” says Nikolay.

Ability to see the food on the screen, decide on additional toppings for meals, filter the food through categories and make the quickest order without having to pick up the phone has resulted in the rise of the income within the resort shortly after. Encouraged to browse through the appetizing images, guests have ordered delivery on more occasions that in the previous times. 

The rise in numbers of the in-room dining orders has also spurred another action which has further proved the willingness of today’s traveller to rely on technology for the purpose of bettering their stay: Al Areen holds the best download statistics for the mobile application within the Hoteza systems. Guest have found it to be useful not to be reliant on the TV device to order food, book massages or explore the facilities of the hotel – the need for the mobility has motivated them to install and actively use Hoteza Mobile App in order to maximise on their overall experience at Al Areen.
